Hello,

Just wanted to say thank you for this program.

I thought I had backed up my information, well needless to say, I realized it was missing after I reformatted my hard drive. Using this software I was able to recover everything I needed. I had over 11,000 pictures of my children on my computer.

No questions from me as yet. To answer your questions, I learned about your product via a Google search. I downloaded the demo version to see if it could find lost information on a formatted hard drive. It did -- so I purchased a copy for my organization.

Data Recovery Wizard - Partitions found at end (6/4/2008)

GREAT PRODUCT!

After the Data Recovery Wizard completes, it shows for the original partition selected, all partitions found during the recovery and asks the user to select from them. More explanation on that screen, or a context sensitive help would make it clear what to choose.

My guess is to look at each partitions files and choose the one that has the original data/files. I imagine in a damaged disk, its possible for some data to be collected together in other partitions, or that the other partitionsare those that were on the disk earlier. It's a little confusing, and unclear what to choose.

Other idea is to have demo be able to do recovery based on a 1-time activation code received with the purchase of the Data Recovery Wizard (or Pro) to avoid re-running after seeing that the product will probably recover the lost file system.

I am blown out of the water today from your software. About 1 year ago I installed a new operating system on my computer on one of my hidden drives. I have 3 bootable hidden partitions with different operating systems on my main drive (they say it cant be done...). Anyway, a year ago when i installed my main drive c again it soemhow installed the operating system to my I drive insteadich wipeed out all my pictures from 2002 up to 2007. that includedse all my wedding pictures, ouch, and every family photo you can imagine. I never had them backed up anywhere. this partition has been formatted at least 4 times sence then with new data put on it. I just ran the new update you helped me with and it recovered all my (about 10gb of photos) wedding photos and all my family photos and all of everything I lost. I am so blown away by this. the thing had been formatted at leat 4 times. I'm so excited im messing up on the keyboard. I cant believe it!!!!

I do a lot of computer repair work as a blessing to people. Your software works good but i wish it was a little more user friendly and categorized things a little more plainly. You have a competitor out that that divides everything up into word, text, pictures and such and tells you so....Yours is pretty technically oriented for people who know what they are doing. Fine for me, but others will go with the competitor.

First I would like to commend you on your most Valuable Data Recovery Program! It is the easiest and most user friendly Recovery Software I have ever used. I give you a Six Star Rating! You software is an Excellent Software for even the novice computer user! I would love to resell this on my web site!

I noticed that if you were to write recovery to the same hard drive that a window came up with the word (Destroyed misspelled as destroied) I thought you would like to correct this.

Also, when your program writes recovered data to another hard drive, it changed the file date. On date sensitive files this is NOT Good. Is there a way to make it write the Recovered files with the date file was Originally Created?

You know, losing data is the worst thing that could happen to a person using a computer (laptop) for their daily tasks. Till this day I do not know what I did wrong, but new that I have to face the consequences. I went to 4 different data recovery technicians but even they could not be of help - they told me that my external harddrive crached with no posibility of retrieving data. I even bought myself a recovery software package - with no luck.I waisted R2159.99 (South African Currency).
